On Saturday, August 7th, Belmar will be hosting a charity fundraiser Spikeball Tournament for Ally Global Foundation.
Ally is a local charity that works to prevent and help survivors of human trafficking through providing them with education, aftercare and safe housing. They operate around the world, but more specifically in Laos, Nepal, and Cambodia. Ally is also actively involved in Canada, pertaining to the prevention and awareness of trafficking and abuse of women and children. You can find out more about Ally Global here.
August 7th is Ally’s annual Move for Freedom event. The purpose of the event is to raise awareness and funds to prevent human trafficking and support the recovery of human trafficking survivors. Every year, different teams participate by hosting a variety of activities. This year, we’re supporting them by hosting a Spikeball Tournament. All proceeds that we raise will be donated towards their inspiring initiatives!
