Raghava Srista Annual Bursary Announcement
At Belmar, we are built by our people. The work we do is made possible by the talent of Software Engineers, Consultants and Project Managers who work as a dedicated team to deliver projects for our customers. We are extremely proud of this work, and even more proud of the individuals that make it happen.
Raghava Sristi was one of these talented individuals who worked as a Software Engineer for Belmar from 2018-2021. He was an incredibly caring colleague who continually exemplified the core values of Belmar, while living with Schizophrenia. In his work, he developed customized solutions on the Salesforce.com platform to help enable organizations through their digital transformation.
One of Raghava’s greatest accomplishments at Belmar was his work on the Civil Resolution Tribunal (CRT). As part of British Columbia’s public justice system, the CRT provides an affordable, accessible way for British Columbians to resolve disputes without the assistance of a lawyer or the need to attend court. The CRT is Canada’s first online tribunal and marked an innovative way to move through the civil justice system with a new degree of affordability and convenience. You can view Raghava’s work in action and learn more about the CRT project here.
In his memory, we are pleased to announce the offering of an annual bursary, awarded to students who are living with Schizophrenia, within the province of British Columbia who are pursuing a career in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related program.
We look forward to honouring Raghava’s legacy by supporting students with this bursary. To learn more about the bursary and how you can apply, please click here.
